Laba
Free-to-air live TV and radio in one app — built for people who want Ugandan stations first, plus a curated mix of international channels you can trust.
Browse featured picks, search every station, save favourites, and play with a clean player for TV and radio. Laba does not host broadcast streams; it connects you to stations and their own streaming infrastructure.

Features
- TV and radio — Dedicated lists and players for live television (HLS) and live radio audio.
- Uganda first — Strong coverage of Ugandan broadcasters, plus international free-to-air style stations in one catalog.
- Search — Find stations quickly by name across TV and radio.
- Favourites — Save stations you return to; choices stay on your device.
- Themes — Light and dark appearance so the app feels right day or night.
- Background radio — On Android, keep listening when you switch apps or lock the screen (uses a foreground playback service where required).
- Offline-friendly catalog — Station lists are cached so browsing stays usable when the network is weak; playback still needs a connection to the station’s servers.
- Now playing: See the song title a station is playing, in the player and on the lock screen (Android).
- Reliable radio: If a stream drops, Laba reconnects on its own, and resumes after a phone call.
- Sleep timer: Fall asleep to the radio; it fades out and stops after 15 to 90 minutes.
- Picture-in-picture: Keep a TV channel playing in a small window while you use other apps.
- Share stations: Send a link to a station; it opens straight in Laba for anyone who has it.
- Filters: Narrow TV and radio by category, country and language.
- Your language: Use Laba in English, Kiswahili or Luganda.
- Report a problem: Tell us about a broken stream straight from the station screen.
- Phones and tablets: Station grids adapt to bigger screens.
Why Laba
Stations in the app are maintained through an automated pipeline that checks stream URLs before updates ship, so you spend less time on dead links and more time watching or listening.
