1. Agreement

By using Laba (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

2. The service

Laba provides access to free-to-air television and radio streams for personal, non-commercial use, with a strong focus on Ugandan broadcasters and a curated set of international free-to-air or openly available channels. The App does not host or own broadcast content. Streams are provided by third parties (broadcasters and their infrastructure). Availability, lineup, and quality may change without notice.

3. No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems;
• scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the App or its APIs;
• use the App in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these terms or harms the service or others.

5. Your content and data

Any information you provide while using the App is subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property and streams

Trademarks, logos, and broadcast content belong to their respective owners. Laba does not claim ownership of third-party streams. If you believe content is used improperly, contact us at ywalum@gmail.com with details.

7. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the new effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Laba and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of the App or third-party streams. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) zero if the App is provided without charge.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
